Thank you for your participation at our 28th Annual event. I wish to extend a special thanks to all the volunteers and referees for a job well done.

The competitors travel from as far away as Edmonton, Alberta as well as participants from North Dakota. We once again will run a double elimination for the pattern and sparring competition. We use corner judge clickers for all coloured belt divisions and Daedo E-Strike PSS for black belts in all rings. Bring your own complete WT Style sparring gear in case your division is not Daedo PSS. This includes instep protectors.

The Best of Three round system will be in place.

This is a very athlete centered event that gives multiple opportunities for the participants to refocus and perform again. Developing referees are mentored in a positive environment. We are very proud of the design model of this event and believe it should be on your Taekwondo training circuit for Long Term development and Yearly Training Plans.

This year we have again included a Family Team Poomsae event. There will be a black belt competitive division. Both the Family Team and black belts will use the KPNP Poomsae scoring system. The recreational black belt and coloured belts will have a double elimination, head-to-head format.

See You in Yorkton!

Sincerely,

Master Wayne Mitchell
