1. Coloured Belt Athletes for sparring must:
    1. Pick up their ID cards before 8:30 at the spectator entrance.
    2. Be ready to line up immediately following the completion of Poomsae competition at or before 10:00 AM.
    3. Must have your QR coded ID card when lining up.
    4. There will be Signs posted on the chairs with a code such as M2, M11, M33 for males and F2, F11, F33 for Female
    5. This is only the starting point for sorting and the groups will be split or merged depending on the number, size, weight, age and belt level.
    6. Your ID card group for sparring will indicate the group sign that you need to find.
    7. You will be kept in your groups until your division is verified and scanned into our computer system.
    8. Please don’t leave the area until dismissed as a group.
    9. Coaches plan to be involved at the beginning of the line up process so as not to require a 2nd resort at the end of the process.
    10. Late arriving athletes will not be added to the sparring fight trees.  Be on time!
  2. Match process
    1. There will be 5 rings.  Please bring enough coaches or have a “Plan B” arranged with the sharing of coaches from other clubs for back up purposes.
    2. Match might run slightly out of order on account of waiting for a coach.  There might be a one (1) match grace to find the coach and then face disqualification or running the match without a coach.
    3. Swapping coaches allowed only between rounds, not during the action!  No double coaching.
    4. The desired plan is to have no waiting on coaches to reduce the day’s duration with an efficient and minimum schedule.
    5. Matches will be numbered by computer.
    6. Match 101 would be the first match in Ring #1 – Match 409 would be the ninth match in Ring #4
    7. The divisions will be broken up into Batches.
    8. The Batches should take 60 to 90 minutes to complete to the final medal standings.
    9. The plan is to place the youngest divisions in the first batches across all rings.
    10. Active batches and the athletes must not leave the field of play area.  If we have to search for the next match and the competitor is missing, they risk disqualification.
  3. Results and next Match questions
    1. The running results are handled by our “Ring Managers and the Ring Runners”
    2. When asking questions about the next match there will be a designated go-to person at each ring.
    3. 3 feet behind the timekeepers and jury table will be an off limits zone to allow the volunteers to proceed through their schedules without interruption.
    4. When a division is completed the Ring Runner will escort the medalists to the podium and medal presentation area.
  4. Other Notes
    1. This event is a fundraiser for the non-profit parent’s association YTA.  Please do not register parents and family as coaches if they are not performing that duty.  If a spectator is discovered sharing a coaches pass to circumvent the spectator fee the team may be asked to leave the event.
    2. Ensure that your athlete’s registration is accurate.  They will be grouped into the Poomsae Divisions by the pattern they have listed, not by their belt level.
